Kit Siang in for a 'REAL SURPRISE' when cops reveal Justo report: But how would Rahman know?
TUARAN - Is the Opposition going to back DAP MP Tony Pua over his alleged involvement with Swiss national Xavier Andre Justo and Sarawak Report founder Clare Rewcastle Brown over 1Malaysia Development Bhd ?
This was the poser raise by Umno supreme council member Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan as he continued his war of words, “the chicken dance” over social media.
“If there was anyone doing the ‘chicken dance’, it would be DAP and its leaders,” he claimed.
In calling for DAP leaders, particularly its adviser Lim Kit Siang, to come out and string a denial for the Petaling Jaya Utara MP’s involvement in the “Xavier Andre Justo” issue, Abdul Rahman said that would be the best solution to end the confusion
Stressing that it was not up for Barisan Nasional and Umno to prove the wrong, Abdul Rahman said the question was whether Lim and DAP leaders were willing to back Pua up and deny that he had contacted or met Justo, the former PetroSaudi International executive who has been linked to the controversial 1MDB issue.
“‘Have they done both? No. Instead, they go around doing the chicken dance. They’re the one doing the chicken dance, not me.
“My conclusion is that Lim Kit Siang will be in for some real surprises when the facts and details are out by the police.”
In response, Lim in a statement, today, said that Pua had already responded to Abdul Rahman, when asked about the issue in the beginning of the month.
“I am completely befuddled.
“I thought Pua could not be clearer when he answered Rahman who asked the first time early this month whether the DAP MP for PJ Utara had met Justo,” he said refering to a July 2 article by Malaysiakini titled I've no clue who Justo is, says Pua”.
On Saturday, Pua challenged Barisan Nasional ministers to accuse him of meeting former PetroSaudi International executive Xavier Andre Justo .
He made the challenge on his Facebook account, clearly in response to Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek's proposal for Opposition figures who allegedly met Justo in Singapore to deny their involvement to close the matter.
Meanwhile, PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli said that the tactics by the government to block access to the Sarawak Report website, is part of the efforts to turn Pua and himself into scapegoats over the scandal. - http://www.therakyatpost.com/
