Umno president Najib Abdul Razak today launched the Pemuda Umno Bumiputera Unit Fund to assist new entrepreneurs in starting their business.
Najib, who is also the prime minister, launched the fund during the movement’s meeting in Kuala Lumpur today.
The fund was set up to facilitate matching of bumiputera ventures with government agencies to ensure entreprenuers benefit fully from it.
Also present were Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar and his deputy Khairul Azwan Harun.
Najib received a rousing welcome from delegates as he walked in while the Pemuda meeting was being held.
