Ahmad Maslan: I meant side business, not two jobs

The deputy minister insisted that his statement was born out of good intention but was taken to mean differently due to negative “spinning” by certain media outlets.
"What I said is that on top of the job you already have, you can have an online business to get into e-trade and e-commerce because Malaysians like social media.
"They use Whatsapp till midnight. They are also always on Facebook and Twitter all, don't know what benefit they get. So I advised that if only they learn about online trade and e-commerce they can make their lives better," he told reporters at a press conference in the Matrade tower today.
He accused media organisations here of turning his remarks into one with negative meaning in order to create controversy.
"We can't spin something negatively, we have to spin it positively. If not we will be going nowhere.
“What I have suggested, I hope it is looked at positively and not negatively. This e-trade business and online business is the future of the country," Ahmad said.
