Jho Low Sails The Mary Celeste With Henry the Black

From the time I was small I have had almost an obsession with ships, water craft, the sea, rivers and estuaries. 50 years later I still have this obsession.  When I was very young I wanted to be a seaman and so I read almost every book I could find in the libraries about the oceans, ships and watercraft. Brigs, schooners, sloops, frigates, man-o-wars, mains'ls, jibs, lateen sails, midshipmen cadets, Plimsoll Lines, coracles in Titicaca, USS Nautilus, the Merrimack, Parson's 'Turbinia' at the Queen's Jubilee, Isambard Kingdom Brunel's "Great Eastern" and 'Great Western"  were just exciting stuff  for me.

There was also lighter stuff - the 'ghost ship' stories. A 'ghost ship' was and still is a true phenomenon. It is a ship that is found adrift in the oceans with no human beings on board. It does not mean they are being crewed by ghosts. For certain logical reasons (mutiny, piracy, natural disaster) their crews disappeared and the ships sailed on.

One of the most famous 'ghost ships' was the brig the Mary Celeste aka Marie Celeste (formerly the Amazon) a 270 ton brigantine that was found sailing by herself near Gibraltar without any crew or passengers onboard in 1872.

Although she was salvaged and sailed again there were 'reports' of seeing the original 'ghost ship' Mary Celeste sailing the oceans by herself as late as the early 20th century.

Yesterday I heard from someone that Jho Low is now sailing on his yacht and is not able to (or does not want to) get off at any port. He has made himself persona non grata.  The reasons are obvious - he may get free board and lodging in the US, UAE etc.

But he has company, Jho Low and a 'recently became rich' Malay guy are spending time on the yacht trying to figure out how to avoid being permanent 'ghosts'.  Just like Magellan took a Malay guy Henry the Black to help him circumnavigate the globe, so does Jho Low have a Malay guy as his sidekick.

Ferdinand Magellan was killed by Lapu-Lapu in the Philippines. Only Henry the Black survived and completed the circumnavigation of the globe. 

Is there a Lapu-Lapu waiting to despatch Jho Low? In which case the 'recently became rich' Malay guy will have to sail alone. On a ghost ship.

The other talk I hear is that Jho Low is negotiating a deal with the Feds in the US to turnstate witness against others. Yo, Fei Low, better stay away from empty oil drums. They will need an extra large oil drum to fit you. 

I cant say who told me this but is one of those people whose phone may be bugged - by cockroaches, insects etc.
