Dr Mahathir Mohamad has taken a potshot at Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) adviser Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim for lodging a police report against him.
"I will have to go to court now because of Tunku Aziz who was former Transparency International chairperson.
"He was very 'transparent'. He looks like a frog, hopping here and there," he quipped.
Although Mahathir did not elaborate, he could have been referring to Tunku Aziz’s previous stint as a DAP member.
The former premier made the remarks when asked on the progress of securing an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to submit the more than one million signatures for the Citizens' Declaration.
Yesterday, Tunku Aziz filed a police report against Mahathir over the latter's remark that the rulers could be under "house arrest."
The current Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) advisory board chairman said he made the report in his individual capacity because he believed Mahathir’s remark may pose a threat to Malaysia’s national security.

Mahathir had made the remark when he revealed he was unable to secure an audience with the Agong to submit the more than one million signatures collected for the Citizens' Declaration.
"We have got 1.4 million signatures, and we've been trying to show them to the Agong.
"But as of now I've not been able to meet the Agong because it's likely that he's under house arrest.
"The rulers may be confined to their palaces," Mahathir had claimed.-Mkini
