Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has claimed that his phone is being tapped and that his movements are being monitored by the police special branch.
He also claimed the Bukit Aman police headquarters have also opened files on him and his father, Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar.
Tunku Ismail, who is popularly referred to as TMJ (the acronym for Tengku Makhota Johor or crown prince) expressed puzzlement that he is being is accorded treatment that is more befitting a terrorist.
"I don't understand why my phone is bugged. I don't understand why my movements are monitored by the special branch.
"I don't understand why they need a file about me or my father in Bukit Aman?" he said in an interview posted on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page today.
"I'm a leader who cares for my people. Not a terrorist. I'm not dangerous. I have never killed anyone except for Malaysian football," he lamented.
