Woman gets more than 300 calls, texts after personal details leaked on sex websites

A woman claims to have received more than 300 calls and text messages asking for sex after her personal details were allegedly published on sex websites.
Free Malaysia Today reports that the woman, who wanted to be known only as Cik Nur, said such requests began coming in two days ago.
According to her, the phone number of the office where she works as a sales manager has been published on these websites as well.
“I believe it has to be someone who knows me quite well because they have also revealed my working details,” she was quoted as saying at a media conference in Wisma MCA today.
Cik Nur, however, refuses to change her phone number, FMT reports, as she ‘suspected the culprit was someone close to her, who would eventually get hold of her new number and then proceed to re-send the new details to the same sex websites.’
MCA Public Services and Complaints Bureau head Michael Chong believes this could be the work of a someone whom Cik Nur may have rejected in the past.
“I’ve received complaints of four similar cases in the last year and all of them were the work of jealous people who had been rejected in the past,” he was quoted as saying.
