So there is no way in hell DAP will hold a second party re-election because that will just allow Tan Seng Giaw to win the number one slot.

Over the last week or two a lot is being said regarding DAP’s illegal CEC.
DAP’s Lim Guan Eng has asked whether the party should “bring back” its late chairman, Karpal Singh, who died on 17th April 2014, to conduct a re-election for its committee as directed by the Registrar of Societies (RoS). “He is no more, so are we to go ask Karpal Singh to come back to cast his vote?” asked Guan Eng.
DAP’s P. Ramasamy, Penang Deputy Chief Minister 2, in turn, said, “The question is how to cripple the DAP, the strongest non-Malay opposition front in the country; the party that has rendered other non-Malay political parties within the BN totally ineffective.”
Then there are others who asked why did it take so long, like four years, for the RoS to take action? Why did the RoS not take action earlier? Why only now take action when the next general election is around the corner? The Elections Commission (SPR), on the other hand, said, “DAP’s GE Qualification To Be Known After RoS’s Case Resolved” (READ HERE), sending a chill down the spines of the DAP leaders.

Actually DAP is pulling a fast one on Malaysians. This is nothing but a con-game. DAP is trying to give the impression that the RoS is being unfair to them, that the RoS kept silent for four years and suddenly out of the blues and for no rhyme or reason is going for DAP, that DAP is being victimised, and so on. The whole world is trying to fix the helpless and innocent DAP up.
DAP is laying the groundwork to challenge the RoS. DAP has not received the official letter from the RoS yet but insider sources say notwithstanding what that letter is going to say DAP is going to to ask for a judicial review to challenge the RoS. DAP cannot afford to hold a second party re-election because if they do then Tan Seng Giaw is going to win the number one slot. And Guan Eng might lose while Kit Siang will be in the bottom ten. This is something they cannot afford to happen so a second party re-election is not acceptable.

In that report the RoS said, “In accordance with the DAP’s constitution, central elections should be held in a national congress with a 10-week notice given to branches and delegates. If DAP presses on with its intention to hold fresh polls on Sunday in a special congress, they should change their party constitution first.”
On 30th September 2013, Antara Post reported: DAP re-election degenerates into another farce (READ HERE).
In that report it said, “The hastened re-election of the DAP’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) could get the party into more trouble with the Registrar of Societies. Activists and ex-leaders of the party are urging Penang Chief Minister and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng to ensure that the list of delegates and relevant notices were legitimate and has the approval of the ROS before holding the elections.”
DAP’s rocket might be absent in the coming general election
So DAP was warned many times and by many people that their September 2013 party re-election is flawed and violates not only their own party constitution but the law as well. DAP, however, chose to ignore this warning. And now DAP asks why did the RoS take four years to bring this matter up.
But that is just it. The RoS did not take four years to raise this matter. They raised it within 24 hours, which is four years ago, and told DAP to rectify the problem. It was DAP that did nothing over four years. Then DAP turns around and says that Umno is trying to get DAP deregistered.
First of all, this has nothing to do with Umno. It is a quarrel between DAP and its own members. It was DAP members who lodged a complaint with the RoS, not Umno. Secondly, the RoS has no intention of deregistering DAP. That is what Lim Kit Siang wants the RoS to do but the RoS has no intention of doing that. All the RoS wants is for DAP to hold a second party re-election, and to do it properly this time so that the members’ rights can be protected and justice can be served.
In other words, all those members who are eligible to attend the December 2012 party election must be allowed to attend the second re-election while those who are not eligible to vote should not be allowed to vote. Worse still, Anthony Loke’s intel revealed that Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng will not win the top score or even be in the top ten but will be in the bottom ten, with a possibility that Guan Eng might not even be in the top 20 but will be off the list totally. So it was imperative that Tan Seng Giaw get kicked out while the rest of ‘Team B’ must be in the bottom ten instead of the top ten.
So Anthony Loke and Vincent Wu came out with the plan on how to block more than 1,300 Team-B-friendly delegates from attending the meeting (by not sending them the invitation letters) while they brought in more than 500 phantom voters to give Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, and his ‘Team A’, 500 votes more than they should get. That was how the father and son Lims got top score while their ‘Team A’ got in the top ten and the ‘Team B’ were pushed to the bottom ten with their team leader getting kicked out totally.
Liew Chin Tong accused Umno of trying to get DAP deregistered and that started the whole mess
Recently, Liew Chin Tong opened his big mouth and started commenting about Umno’s internal matters. Tengku Sariffuddin Tengku Ahmad then replied and said DAP should instead look into their own internal party problems such as their illegal party elections. This upset some DAP leaders who accused Umno of trying to get DAP deregistered, which were two lies. First, Umno is not involved as this is between DAP and its own members. Second, the RoS has no intention of deregistering DAP.
So this lie forced the RoS to set the record straight.
DAP then held a CEC meeting and made a decision to meet the RoS to discuss this matter. But then DAP’s CEC is not valid so that means the meeting they held a few days ago is not valid as well. And that would mean the RoS cannot meet the DAP CEC members or any of the party office bearers or else that would tantamount to the RoS recognising the CEC and the decisions they make.
The RoS just wants DAP to comply: meaning DAP must hold a second party re-election. There is no need for DAP to meet the RoS because nothing can be resolved that way, and the RoS cannot meet them anyway. So the ball is now at DAP’s feet. If DAP does not comply to what the RoS asked them to do then the CEC is not legal and the decisions it makes is also not legal.
And this would mean the officer bearers appointed by the CEC are also not legal and the party’s Secretary-General will have no authority, such as to sign the Surat Watikah for the party’s candidates in the coming general election, which the Elections Commission has already clarified here:
