PAS, the only 'agenda' is to get culprits of 1MDB scandal

YOURSAY | 'You either condemn the criminals, or you are one of those who abet them.'
Anonymous 2436471476414726: PAS information chief Nasrudin Hassan, the only agenda is we want to see justice done.
Those criminals who had allegedly siphoned and laundered billions of 1MDB's money must be charged in court. Those who obstruct justice and those who spin stories to shield these criminals must likewise be made accountable.
So Nasrudin, stop beating around the bush. You either condemn the criminals, or you are one of those who abet them.
Mushiro: PAS is playing with words to fool its members on 1MDB.
If they do not want to follow those with an alleged "agenda", then why is PAS following the 1MDB agenda of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, his wife Rosmah Mansor and his close associate Jho Low?
Singapore, Sweden and US Department of Justice (DOJ) have done enough on 1MDB-related matters. What is PAS waiting for?
At least have the marbles to say openly that PAS is not interested to join Pakatan Harapan's anti-kleptocracy rally as it would hurt Najib and Rosmah.
681 Porky Pies: Stop talking nonsense to fool your brethren. We don't need a royal commission of inquiry (RCI), just ask them to show us the auditor-general's report on this mess.
Enggang: There's no need for PAS to declare that they will participate in any opposition-sponsored anti-kleptocracy rally. We can already anticipate they'll boycott the rally.
The majority of the rakyat know that PAS is seeking to form government with BN despite knowing that someone has allegedly siphoned money from 1MDB, and PAS probably has benefited from the heist as alleged. Was it RM90 million?
But of course, no one will admit to receiving stolen money. PAS has veered very far from its original struggle of upholding Islamic principles. They know that stealing is a hudud-punishable offence, but they got around this by claiming no theft had taken place.
Instead, they now say what had happened was that some foreign power is trying to interfere in our affairs.
Teoh Siang Chang: PAS won't follow those with agenda, but will follow those who can give 'dedak' (animal feed) instead.
JusticeNow!: The wonders that a bit of ‘dedak’ can do to people's ideology and strategy.
The once principled becomes totally unprincipled, the once religious becomes an oddity of modern times, the once fierce defender of justice and the poor becomes 'see nothing, say nothing and help no one', and the once forward-looking becomes myopic and regressive beyond logic.
Anonymous #44199885: Malaysians are wasting their precious time dealing with PAS. PAS does not care one bit about our future nor the future of our children.
They live and breathe only to serve Umno and protect Malaysian Official 1 (MO1). The pilfering of public funds is both immaterial and irrelevant to them. Their only quest is power for power's sake, not for the purpose of doing any good for the nation.
Party president Abdul Hadi Awang and the ulama-led PAS have no objective of serving the public nor protecting the public from a band of thieves.
Their entire behaviour in this affair shows an ulama-led group intent on protecting the wrongdoers.
Feddup: Nasrudin, aren't you supposed to chop off the hands of those who steal? So, what are you waiting for?
Anonymous 2436471476414726: So Special Affairs Department (Jasa) advisory panel member Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz, do you now understand how the legal process in US works?
The DOJ suit contains 251 pages, but you think you can dismiss it in one or two sentences.
May I remind you that the DOJ is a very important institution in the US. When they file a suit such as this, you can bet they have solid evidence and testimonies. In time to come, these will be revealed further.
It is a tragedy that whilst your salaries are paid for by taxpayers, you have no qualms to mislead them in order to shield the criminals who had allegedly siphoned billions from 1MDB.
It is people like you who are traitors to the nation.
Anonymous Hotplate: Do you think Najib and Rosmah dare to take the necessary legal action against DOJ to clear their name?
If they do, well and good, as all hell would break loose and we can hear the real truth as to who had actually gone to foreign countries to buy properties.
RM2.6 Billion Turkey Haram: The DOJ has more evidence than meets the eye. With such a huge amount of evidence, 251 pages in all, even a half-past-six attorney would have won the case.
That is why MO1 and his wife would concede a walkover rather than be shamed and humiliated in the US.
Vgeorgemy: Lawyer Haniff Khatri Abdulla, here you are talking about the concept of rule of law, which is very alien to us as we only know the 'rule by law' concept.

Falcon: It makes you wonder where many in Malaysia's legal fraternity got their law degrees? - Mkini
