Petrol prices across the board will go down for the second consecutive week effective midnight.
According to an announcement by the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry, RON95 will retail for four sen less at RM2.25 per litre.
RON97 will retail at RM2.52, down five sen.
After peaking on Nov 16, the prices of both have steadily decreased.
Meanwhile, the price of diesel will go down by one sen to RM2.20 per litre.
The weekly fuel price system was implemented on March 30.
It is determined by global oil prices based on the Mean of Platts Singapore and the ringgit's strength against the US dollar.
The retail prices are announced every Wednesday evening, and take effect the following day.
