Injustice! Don’t target my F-word, take action on all rude MPs - Bung

Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin has condemned a motion for him to be referred to the parliamentary privileges committee, calling it an “injustice”.
He said the government lawmakers should equally be reported.
Put forth by Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin, the motionconcerned his conduct of uttering an obscene word in the House that had offended other lawmakers and also smeared the prestige of Parliament.
Bung said this was akin to “overruling” the decision of deputy speaker Mohd Rashid Hasnon, who had at the time, accepted his apology and withdrawal of the word.
“But now that the motion has been put forth, it will be voted upon, and when it is voted on, I will lose.
“I feel the speaker should be strict in determining the direction of the house, and not simply allow a government or any other party to overrule or bulldoze his decision,” he told a press conference in Parliament today.
Although the said notice did not specify the exact nature of the offence, it is believed to pertain to Bung firing a four-letter word twice in the Dewan Rakyat on Aug 7 while debating the Sales Tax Bill 2018.
Should it be allowed, Bung said such a motion should apply to all lawmakers who have uttered strong words throughout the sitting.
“If the government wants to take action, take it against everyone. Go back to the Hansardand look for any MPs who have said bad words. Make a motion for all, do not be unfair or biased.
“I am outspoken and am not on their (government’s) side, so they are doing as they please. To me, this is an injustice by Pakatan Harapan to deny my rights in Parliament,” he said.
During the debate of the Sales Tax Bill, Bung had in a heated exchange of words fired a “F*** you!” the first time at Kampar MP Thomas Su.
He then uttered the word again, which further plunged the House into pandemonium.

The Sabah lawmaker had also accused Su of engaging the services of prostitutes.
Bung later retracted his insults and his claim against Su. - Mkini
