Najib Abdul Razak's daughter has expressed concern over her father's court proceeding scheduled for 3pm tomorrow, which could result in the former premier spending an extra night in detention.
"They are fixing the hearing for 3pm. When bail is granted, the court registry and banks will be closed. So we will not be able to post bail. This is very obvious.
"Therefore, he might have to spend an extra night in detention until bail is posted," Nooryana Najwa told Malaysiakini.
Najib is expected to be charged at 3pm at the Kuala Lumpur High Court tomorrow over the so-called RM2.6 billion found in his bank account.
The authorities detained Najib earlier and he is expected to be held overnight.
He is expected to face multiple charges in connection to money laundering.
In an Instagram posting, Nooryana, who is currently in the US, recounted how she had been informed by her brother Ashman regarding their father's arrest. -Mkini

ReplyDelete2. Early training is good for ur father because he may or very likely have to spent a long long time in prison, much much longer then what he did to DSAI and others.
3. It makes no difference even if the bank may not or may have close because you may need umngok supporters to raise fund or donation one more time unless there are tons of money hidden somewhere right?
4. There are more charges to come so ur dad should try to get use to it. The earlier the better right?
