A scuffle broke out after a march in Kuala Lumpur tonight against the Attorney-General's Chambers' move to drop charges against Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, was blocked by the police.
Led by Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam, the group of 50 protestors had attempted to march from the Sogo shopping centre to the Dang Wangi district police headquarters.
Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Shaharudin Abdullah was seen snatching a microphone from Lokman while about 20 police personnel blocked the marchers.
The march was initiated after rally organisers decided to abandon Sogo shopping centre as a rally venue because nearby buskers were too loud and interrupting the group's speeches.
