More religious institutions now but fewer moral values, says Perak sultan

PETALING JAYA: Perak ruler Sultan Nazrin Shah says there has been a decline of moral values among Muslims in the country despite an increase in number of Islamic institutions.

He said large-scale corruption had recently been uncovered although more and more from the Malay community were becoming professionals and academics.

“When the country achieved independence, the Malay-Muslim community only knew the Malay academic who went by Pendeta Za’ba. You couldn’t find Malay scholars with philosophy doctorates.

“Yet the country did not see corruption practised on the scale reported today,” he said in his speech at the Golden Jubilee celebration of the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs Malaysia.

He said the Islamic teachings at the time had built strong integrity within the Malay community which prevented them from committing acts that would threaten their dignity.

“It kept many Malay-Muslim officers from doing evil and sinning through breach of trust, corruption and misuse of power,” he added.

He also said Islam used to be taught by teachers who did not have degrees or diplomas, and who travelled by foot or bicycle to teach at huts and suraus.

Yet, he said, they had formed a generation strong in their faith and principles.

He said the Islam he was taught emphasised the values of integrity and trust.

“Is the level of poverty so great that it would cause villagers from two different villages to fight over food that’s not theirs from a lorry spill?

“If that is the level of poverty they face, which causes the people to forget the law and what’s right and wrong, evidently there are institutions including religious ones that have not fulfilled their responsibility to help people who are poor and underprivileged,” he said.

Untuk kaum yang ter-challenged IQ saja - please understand this -  ini bukan saya cakap tau.   Ini DYMM Sultan Perak yang cakap. So jangan marah saya tau.

Sekarang ini biar saya cakap.  Tuan-tuan dengar baik-baik apa saya cakap. 

Do Not Listen To the Religious People. 

You listen to them you will become deviant, poor, stupid, violent (ganas)  and you will become worse and miserable failures in life. 

I do not know how many more decades or centuries it is going to take before this realisation will penetrate your very thick skulls. You are going to be suffering a very, very difficult life. 

Do not listen to the religious people. They will cause disaster for you fi dunya wal aakhirati.

The Sultan of Perak is spot on.  There are more religious institutions but fewer moral values. 

There are more ostards but more of them are involved in rape, sodomy, sexual assault, violence against students etc. Just read the newspapers.

If you want to have any chance at all at living a successful life as a Muslim then read and understand the Quran. The Quran will set you free and make you successful human beings. 

If you try to live by the Quran your neighbours will love you - non Muslims, Muslims, everyone will love you. Look at this blog - almost 64 million hits. People love me. Thank you very much folks.  No one feels threatened by me.   

I dont speak the language of hate. 
Why hate? There is nothing to hate.

Just fix your own mistakes. Fix your own weaknesses.
Hang bodoh, hang ganas, hang cepat marah tak tentu pasal, hang malas lepas tu hang nak marah orang lain pula? Banyak cantik.

Learn to live up to your responsibilities. 
We all have our responsibilities.

Even the birds that fly in the air know their obligations. Their responsibilities. 
Birds have to wake up, fly around, look for food, collect twigs to build a nest, spend hours building a nest, lay eggs, hatch the eggs, feed the baby birds, take care of the baby birds until they fly off on their own etc.

Birds only have a bird brain to guide them through life. 
Yet even with their tiny bird brains the birds know what their obligations are. 

Are you a bird brain? Is your brain smaller or larger than a bird's brain? 
So how come you do not know your own obligations? 
Just live up to your own responsibilities. Fulfil your obligations. 
Then your life will become successful.

You do not need the religious retards to tell you what your obligations are.

Pay attention to human beings. Starting with yourself.
Give due regard to all human beings. 
Not just the funny looking ones - who may look like you or smell like you. 

Sticks, stones etc are not part of your obligations or responsibilities.
They will not get you anywhere.

Listen to the Sultan. Despite there being more religious institutions the moral values seem to be getting less and less. The religious instituions are failures. They do not work.

For 1,000 years they have not worked. What makes you think they will work over the next 30 - 50  years (your remaining life span?)

Be realistic. They are not going to work.
