A few days ago, I received a booster dose appointment on MySejahtera. I confirmed the appointment which was scheduled at 1pm Kajang Kelinik Sdn Bhd at No 3, Jalan Sungai Chua, Kajang.
Today I arrived 10 minutes before 1pm. The place was empty and even the signboard was broken. There was no one at the counter.
Later, someone came and said there is no vaccine there. So I showed my MySejahtera. He said, yes this is the clinic but no vaccine. So I asked, how? He said you can cancel and wait. I didn’t cancel.
I then went out, took a photo of the clinic, and called the vaccine hotline number on MySejahtera - 1800-888 828. I was put on hold, on number 22 of a waiting list.
After six minutes, when it came to my turn, there was no one speaking. There was no sound. After saying hello for two minutes I hung up.
I called again. This time I managed to speak to someone, who laughed when I told them about the condition of the clinic. They said they don’t know what I can do and when I insisted I wanted to complain – they gave me another number - 03-7723 9300.
I called this number which turned out to be the Health Ministry and I was told that I should go back to the clinic and ask them if I can go to another clinic.
If they say cannot, then I have to try to register for the booster again.
When I went back to the same clinic, it was closed. All the shutters were down. All within half an hour when I first went there.
Where's my booster? Now I am worried when they say many people are missing their appointments, is it true? - Mkini
