Prime Minister and Finance Minister Anwar Ibrahim said this included the redevelopment of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Carcosa Sri Negara, in collaboration with ThinkCity.
“ThinkCity will also work with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to participate in efforts to revitalise life in the city centre through beautification projects in focal locations as well as raising the potential of historic and cultural assets.
“A total of RM30 million is also provided to, among others, increase the liveability of public housing in Kuala Lumpur,” he said when tabling the Budget 2023 at the Dewan Rakyat today.
He added that the government would also allocate RM50 million to Malacca and Penang to continue preserving world heritage sites recognised by Unesco.
