Yassir Qadhi On How Islam Was Really Spread

 Here is well known Islamic preacher Shaykh Dr Yassir Qadhi with  quite a different exposition about the spread of Islam. 'Different' meaning not the usual explanations we hear about how Islam spread. This is a 15 minute video.  Malaysia is mentioned at minute 10:10 onwards.

Yasir Qadhi is an American preacher, theologian and Sunni imam. Since 2001 he has served as Dean of Academic Affairs at the Al-Maghrib Institute, an international Islamic educational institution with a center in Houston, Texas. He was born in 1975 (age 48 years) in Houston, Texas, United States. He was educated at Yale University (PhD), Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia and the University of Houston.
