Loke cautions party leaders against misusing position for land

DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook says the party has a reputation to keep.

SEREMBAN: DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook has reminded party leaders in Negeri Sembilan not to abuse their position in requesting lands from the state government.

“We do not want to abuse our positions for our self-interests,” he said in his speech at the Negeri Sembilan DAP Convention here today.

Loke, who is also Seremban MP and Chennah assemblyman, said the party has a reputation to keep.

“If there is anyone (from the party) who is asking for lands, do not entertain them. Inform me.” Loke told Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Aminuddin Harun, who a guest of honour at the party’s convention.
