Is PAS Joining Unity Gomen An UMNO Idea? To Neutralise The DAP?

 

Because the arithmetic adds up and does not add up at the same time. 

It does not add up because the PH already has a majority in Parliament - just one seat short of a 2/3 majority. This is enough to hold the gomen in place. So why go and acquire 49 more Parliamentary seats from PAS? It does not add much to strengthen the PH. 

But it does add up if the idea is to kick out the DAP from the PH. And the only fellows who would want to do this will be the Umno boys and the Pas fellows. DAP has 40 seats. Pas has 49 seats. If DAP is kicked out of the gomen and replaced by Pas the PH will still be in power. 

With DAP kicked out Umno can ask for more Cabinet positions. Happy hour come early.

The Sarawak fellows dont like the DAP too much. The Sarawak fellows and the Pas both were in the Cabinet under Tan Sri Muhyiddin and Sabri. Sudah lupa kah? They can work together.

The DAP better maintain some links with Bersatu. You know just in case.
