Razman should stay in cave if can't accept satire, criticism - Woo

 

DAP Youth chief Woo Kah Leong has suggested that Perak opposition leader Razman Zakaria go off-grid and “stay in a cave” to avoid social media.

This is after Razman (above, right) reacted negatively to a caricature Woo posted depicting the former as a clown.

“I see that Pak Teh (Razman) can’t accept being made fun of, and is hurt that his image was caricatured, asking friends to get upset, threatening to take legal action, and asking for authorities to intervene.

“My suggestion to Pak Teh is that it may be better for him to return to a cave to live a normal life and avoid social media,” Woo said in a statement today.

He added that Razman should learn from DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke, who thanked Perikatan Nasional for parading caricatures of him shushing critics.

‘Deal with it’

Yesterday, the Perak PAS leader demanded that Woo apologise and take down the caricature or face a lawsuit.

Woo said that caricatures and political satire are a political norm in most of the world, and that Razman should learn to accept it.

He added that Pakatan Harapan is also often the subject of satire and caricatures, but does not react angrily. - Mkini
