SEPANG: The Kuala Lumpur International Airport's (KLIA) long-anticipated aerotrain system is set to begin operations next month, following its completion of a major infrastructure upgrade that began in 2022.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the aerotrain system has entered its final phase of testing in the coming days namely the emergency response plan (ERP) testing with the Malaysia Airports staff and response team.
"If it goes smoothly, it will begin at 10am on July 1, which is in 10 days time," he told a press conference during a media sneak peek of the service. - NST
