The Bahai community of Malaysia has been around since the independence of Malaya and then Malaysia. They are peace loving people who have contributed to the country’s peace and security with its all encompassing principles of oneness of God, oneness of religion and oneness of mankind.

Malaysia with its multi linguistic, racial and ethnicity have managed the country extremely well though the naysayers may think otherwise. What seems to be a glowing light of Asia in terms of managing a multi-racial society in all dimensions, should continue to manage its policies and directions with determination and persistence by maintaining its neutral, unbiased and non-prejudicial approach. Though the construction of houses of worship need to be controlled and managed with extreme sensitivity, everybody’s faith and beliefs need to be respected and safeguarded, though they may be a minority, as long they do not engage in extremism or are detrimental to the sovereignty of the country.
The Bahai community of Malaysia has been around since the independence of Malaya and then Malaysia. They are peace loving people who have contributed to the country’s peace and security with its all encompassing principles of oneness of God, oneness of religion and oneness of mankind.
This year the Bahais are celebrating the 200th bicentennial Anniversary of the founder and reveler of the the Bahai revelation Bahaullah. Bahais are building temples all over the world for mankind for peace and unity with its unique architecture. In this momentous moment, the Bahais are still waiting for that day when they can erect a temple in Malaysia for Malaysians and mankind. There are nine continental temples all over the world stretching from Chicago in United states to Panama, Chile, Frankfurt in Germany, Lotus in New Delhi, in Uganda in Africa, Samoa Island and in Sydney in Australia. Regional temples have been completed in Batambam in Cambodia and the other in progress in Vanuatu.
We hope the government of Malaysia will look into the hopes of the Bahais of Malaysia who pray everyday for the well being of Malaysia and Malaysians, who are looking forward to the day of erecting the first temple in Malaysia for mankind.
