The Indian community is really puzzle at the statement by Unity Minister Waytha Moorthy that the Indian community is getting more attention and a grant of RM100 Million has been allocated under the 2019 Budget to assist the Indian community.
The Indians feel that nothing has happen for the past 8 months since PH had taken power from BN. What is heard is just statements that the Indian community is been offered assistance. Statements alone will not help this community.
Most Malaysians have given a red report card to Wathya Moorthy, since he is found somewhat incapable, but a few feel that he must be given time for an opportunity to prove the majority is wrong
Whatever said, Indians are in dire need of help to improve their life. They need educational aid, employment placement and entrepreneur assistance to finance a trade they are good at, to uplift their lives.
Due to negligence by the BN and MIC, most Indians have turn to vice to support their living. To eradicate this menace, the Indian community must be given help to live a normal life like the other communities in Malaysia.
Waytha Moorthy has only a bit more than 2 years to fulfill his pledge to improve the lives of the Indians in Malaysia. A term of a Senator is 3 years.
