Daim: I will continue to advise PM, gov't, as and when needed

Former chairperson of Council of Eminent Persons (CEP), Daim Zainuddin will continue to advise the government, and Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, when his service is needed.

"When advice is sought, I will go and help," he said briefly when asked about his role in the government, and link to the premier. 

At a dialogue session at the Defence Ministry earlier, Daim was introduced as a government advisor, after which he spoke about the trade war between the US and China.
