CAMERON HIGHLANDS: A small war of words erupted between Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional supporters at the polling centre at SJK(C) Brinchang around 11.30am.
The incident occurred when DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang with some Pakatan supporters were crossing the road near the polling centre, when they apparently strayed into the 50m boundary outside the school.
A couple of supporters were wearing party t-shirts or carrying bamboo sticks with flags.
This transgressed election campaign rules.

When asked about the incident, Lim, dressed in a light pink button-down and brown slacks, said he was just walking around.
A group of Barisan supporters nearby then began heckling the group, shouting such lines as “50 metres!” and “Balik lah!”
Others, such as Umno supreme council member Datuk Armand Azha Abu Hanifah, heckled the group, shouting whether they knew election campaign laws and the 50m boundary.
“Are you government now or opposition? If you don't know the law, go learn it first” Armand jeered at the group.
Some Barisan supporters began whipping out their phones to record the exchange.
A few blue-clad supporters also tried to snatch the flags away from the Pakatan supporters.
Uniformed police also converged on the scene to move both groups away from the polling centre, which had just been visited by Election Committee chairman Azhar Harun 30 minutes before. -Star
