PUT UP OR SHUT UP NAJIB! TALK-A-LOT EX-PM MULLS ‘DEBATE’ WITH NEMESIS KIT SIANG – BUT WILL HE CHICKEN OUT EVEN AS DAP SUPREMO MAKES IT CLEAR ‘I’M OBSESSED WITH YOU BECAUSE OF 1MDB’

Former premier Najib Abdul Razak will consider taking on his chief nemesis Lim Kit Siang, whom he claimed is obsessed with him, in a public debate.
“Let me think about it,” he said when Malaysiakini posed the question to him in Cameron Highlands, where he is campaigning for the BN candidate.
“He (Lim) is obsessed about me. My concern is that I need to engage with people. It is not just about one man,” he added.
Lim and Najib have been locking horns on a regular basis since the last general election.
Recently, the former premier described the DAP veteran as “Menteri Hal-Ehwal Najib” or minister of Najib’s affairs.
The former premier has accused the Iskandar Puteri MP on several occasions of being obsessed with him.
In July last year, two months after BN was routed from power, Najib said Lim had issued a total of 26 media statements targetting him that month and urged him to put an end to the obsession.
This prompted the DAP veteran to respond that he is obsessed with the 1MDB scandal, and not the former premier.
This morning, Lim, who is also on the campaign trail in Cameron Highlands, raised the 1MDB scandal again and warned Malaysians not to fall into Najib’s trap of attempting to divert attention from the matter.
Calling it a “diabolical and devilish” plot, he said the former premier is attempting to make a comeback in the next election.
“There are people who think we should not talk about Najib now, forget about 1MDB and global kleptocracy, that is why he (Najib) can hope to have a comeback agenda.
“It is a diabolical and devilish plan to tell the people… ‘Alright, it (the 1MDB matter) is in court, let the court decide, forget about it and don’t talk about it’.
“Malaysians should not fall into this trap,” he said. – THE MALAYSIAN INSIGHT
