CAMERON HIGHLANDS: Barely 12 hours after photographs showing men clad in Pakatan Harapan shirts giving out hampers to folk at Kampung Terisu, another photograph of an electoral violation has surfaced.
Also posted by Umno Youth chief Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki (pic), on his Facebook page, the photograph allegedly shows Pakatan's Cameron Highlands by-election candidate M. Manogaran wearing a shirt that clearly shows the coalition's logo.
"How can the Election Commission allow the Pakatan candidate whose shirt has political party logo into the polling station at SK Senderut?
"It's clearly against the law and an offence was committed.
"There have been a lot of offences during this by-election, but the EC is turning a blind eye," he added in the post.
Dr Asyraf had on Friday (Jan 25) night posted a picture on his Instagram, allegedly showing Pakatan campaigners giving out hampers to Kampung Terisu villagers.
He claimed the incident occurred on the final day of the by-election campaign.- Star
