What MIC failed to say is that they have no credible leaders who would be accepted by the voters in Cameron Highlands, to secure a victory.
Just simply giving a lame excuse on Seafield Temple riots is unacceptable.
They need to 'import' candidates whose chances were less than fifty percent. So why take a risk and embarrass the party while wasting monies to campaign.
MIC and BN are no longer the ruling party and have no clout to influence the voters to vote for them.
But to the Indian community, its a shame that MIC has given in to UMNO so that they can field their own candidate to contest. This is the second time MIC had given in, the first being Port Dickson.
MIC members will soon "abandon ship" on MIC, since they know MIC is too weak and no longer a force to be reckon.
Their plight and concern of Indians in Malaysia will never get addressed by MIC leaders any longer. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
