Police are looking to quiz former Umno Youth leader Razlan Rafii over his social media posting where he asked for DAP members to be "shot".
Razlan confirmed that he has been summoned to Bukit Aman to have his statement recorded tomorrow.
"I was asked to present myself at Bukit Aman in relation to my tweet the other day.
"Police have opened an investigation paper and will be questioning me," he said in a statement.
Razlan is being investigated under Section 505(C) of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA).
Section 505(C) concerns the making of a statement with the intent to incite any class or community or persons to commit any offence against any other class or community of persons.
The offence carries a punishment of up to two years imprisonment or a fine or both.
Section 233 of the CMA pertains to the improper use of network facilities or network service and carries a fine of up to RM50,000 or imprisonment up to a year, or both.
