Guan Eng’s Strategy On How To Look Good: Attack Najib

No need to keep repeating the story about corruption. After all, you are also corrupt. You have corruption cases involving your house and the undersea tunnel. So enough stories about corruption. Tell us how come you are short of money after just three months and how come students all over the world are being recalled before they can finish their studies? And yet you have enough money to give RM50 million to Chinese schools.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Aminuddin Harun, the Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, is creating a storm in a teacup regarding the Seremban International Golf Club (SIGC) selling liquor. This, of course, is a drama created for the coming Rantau by-election, where slightly over half the voters are Malays-Muslims.
Aminuddin wants to show the Malay voters that Pakatan Harapan Muslims are better Muslims than Umno Muslims. What is surprising is that none of the DAP leaders have protested at this ‘Islamisation’ of the state or have called Aminuddin or the Pakatan Harapan Malays Talibans.
When Aminuddin or any of the other Pakatan Harapan Malays fly overseas, do they fly by liquor-free Saudi Arabian Airlines or do they fly by MAS, which serves liquor? Are they not afraid of flying by MAS where the malaikat would not come near since there is liquor on board the plane? Is that why MAS is always in trouble with crashed/disappeared planes and losing billions compared to Saudia that faces no such problems because it is liquor-free?

Does Pakatan Harapan not want to also protest MAS selling liquor?

When Umno and PAS talk about perpaduan ummah they are called Talibans. When the Pakatan Harapan Malays make an issue of liquor being sold at international golf clubs (as political mileage for the by-election) that is okay. Why not ban the sale of liquor at all golf clubs throughout Malaysia? Then we can praise you as good Malays and pious Muslims. Why make a fuss about liquor only near where a by-election is being held?
And why is DAP keeping quiet? Are they not worried that once they ban the sale of liquor at one golf club this will eventually be extended to all golf clubs throughout Malaysia? Or is DAP keeping quiet because they know this stunt is only for the Rantau by-election and once the by-election is over the issue will die off?
Lim Guan Eng is staging his own stunts as well. He has just asked Parliament for another RM15 billion increase in budget. Only three months and already run out of money and need another RM15 billion? Why is Guan Eng already short of money in just three months?

Guan Eng’s strategy to make himself look good is to attack Najib

Yes, business is bad so taxes have dropped. There is also no GST and with the SST it is easier to avoid paying tax. So, the government is not earning enough money.
Students, most of them Malays, are being recalled from the UK and other countries. Many have had to abandon their final year or even abandon their last few months. The government says one in twenty Malays are university graduates so, as it is, there is an oversupply of graduates and not enough jobs for them.
In the past, these graduates were absorbed by the government and the GLCs, which is why Malaysia’s civil service is bloated at ten times the size per capita of Indonesia’s civil service. But now they have to reduce the civil service and at least 500,000 Malays need to be ‘retired’. And with the new graduates entering the job market, there is really no way they can get employment.

Malay students overseas are being called home

Yes, if you think things are bad, just wait another two or three years. By GE15, things are going to be so bad the Malays are going to go down on their hands and knees to beg Umno to come back and take over the government, with PAS as their spouse, of course.
And that is why Najib Tun Razak is getting popular by the day while the Pakatan Harapan apologists who used to sing it is better to choose the lesser of the two evils are not talking so much anymore.
In 1999, while the Malays voted opposition, the Chinese voted Barisan Nasional. The Chinese explained that although Barisan might be corrupt, the economy is still good and everyone can cari makan. Never mind if those at the top take something for themselves as long as there is something left for those at the bottom.

To most Chinese, cari makan is more important than freedom of speech

Yes, at the end of the day that is what it all boils down to. But when there is nothing left for those at the bottom, good governance, democracy, freedom of speech, etc., all mean nothing because all that cannot put food on the table.
Yes, all Umno and PAS need to do is wait another two or three years. By then Umno and PAS need not do anything. The hungry and unhappy people will make the decision just like how the Malays begged the British to take back the country from the Japanese in 1945. Even British occupation was better any time than the four-year Japanese occupation.
Were the British good? No, the Japanese were worse. Is Barisan good? No, Pakatan is worse. That will be what Malaysians will be thinking over the next two or three years.
Of course, Guan Eng is still trying to make Pakatan look good by constantly telling Malaysians about that fairy tale RM1 trillion debt. The RM1 trillion debt story was almost a year ago. Today it is still RM1 trillion? What happened to the promise to solve all the problems in 100 days (or three months and 10 days)?

The DAP Chinese attack Najib to deflect from the fact that Pakatan is not capable of running the country

Guan Eng is still talking about Najib did this and Najib did that when he was in charge. Okay, we have already heard about the bad things that Najib did. No need to keep repeating those stories. Just tell us what the Pakatan government is doing about it?
Najib did this. Najib did that. Cukuplah! Najib is no longer the Finance Minister. Guan Eng is. We know what Najib did. You have told us many times what Najib did. Now tell us what you are doing about it. You have had almost a year to figure out what happened and what you are going to do about it.
