KUANTAN: Two PAS leaders in Pahang came forward to have their statements recorded at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) complex in Indera Mahkota, here, today.
State PAS Dewan Ulama chief Mokhtar Senik arrived at the complex at about 10am while PAS Information Chief Nasruddin Hassan Tantawi arrived 30 minutes later.
Both were called in to give their statements to assist into investigations on PAS allegedly receiving RM90 million in funds from Umno.
As of now, MACC has recorded the statements from 13 individuals.
Two days ago, PAS Youth chief Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi and Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) chairman Datuk Dr Rameli Musa gave their statements to the MACC.
Last week, the commission called in PAS spiritual adviser Datuk Hashim Jasin and the party’s central election secretary Mohamed Nasir Daud.
These statements were recorded after PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang announced an out of court settlement with regard to the lawsuit he filed against Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown.
