The major reason for the PH defeat at Semenyih and Cameron Highlands is that the sentiments of the rakyat is that Pakatan Harapan is still unable to govern the Federal Government effectively.
The rakyat is still facing increases in prices of all goods, more so daily household goods. PH seem to neglect the plea of the ordinary rakyat BUT have grandeur ideas like flying cars that will not fill the hungry stomach.
The PH Manifesto is still not fulfilled. The rakyat only seem to hear that something seem to be on the way. It is now 9 months since PH formed the federal government.
Wrongdoers are still walking in the streets when they are suppose to be in the jail. Bails are granted even when their charges are 40 to 50 crimes committed. PH is very slow in executing actions against these wrongdoers. Ordinary rakyat are denied bail and sent to jail until their cases are mentioned.
After 9 months, UMNO is still not deregistered since it has violated its own party Constitution and Societies Act.
No action yet on those who had benefited from 1MDB proceeds.
No action against those who have spoken seditious words in public or in the social media against other Malaysians.
No actions against VVIP or VIP who have flout the law since PH formed the federal government.
Malaysians are disappointed that BSH recipients are made to waste money and time to fill their applications when the Inland Revenue Board has records of those who are entitled to receive this aid. Now, housewives are more favoured rather than their Husbands, who are the head of the households.
PH Cabinet Ministers are not working as a team and in most cases contradict each other. Some Ministers go overboard to brag about a matter still pending or not having receive Cabinet approval.
Selection of candidates for Elections should be those who are locals and can work effectively for the benefit of the rakyat and not that they are favoured by a particular leader.
IF PH does not look into these matters seriously and quickly, Rantau will be the next to be lost by PH. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
