After Anwar-Azmin meet, KL hotel meet may be called off - PKR Youth veep

A planned gathering of PKR members aligned to party deputy president Azmin Ali in Kuala Lumpur is likely to be called off, sources told Malaysiakini.
This follows a meeting between Azmin and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim yesterday, in which concessions were made.
Previously, PKR Youth vice-chief Nazree Yunus (photo) had confirmed that there would be a separate meeting at the Renaissance Hotel.
However, this was before the Anwar and Azmin meeting

"After the meeting, and the top leadership asked everyone to focus on the congress in Malacca... insyaAllah everyone will follow suit," he told Malaysiakini today.
Asked about the Kuala Lumpur meeting, he said: "It looks uncertain."
Yesterday, Nazree said he expected Azmin and vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin to attend together with the party's lawmakers and leaders of its respective wings.
Nazree said the highlight of the event would be speeches by party leaders who would be "taking a few main positions”.
"I expect this (meeting in Kuala Lumpur) to be a manifestation of the yearning of senior party leaders and members to voice out on issues.
"This is a democratic country. It is up (to the members) to join any programme," he had said.
Meanwhile, Nazree welcomed Anwar's warning that members who hold a separate congress may get sacked.
"I view this as a reminder from the president, and there doesn't seem to be another congress, only the one in Malacca," he said. - Mkini
