Belanda Dapat Tanah

Hi folks. I am in Holland now, been here since yesterday. It is an extremely flat country. Arrived by overnite ferry from Harwich and landed at the Hook of Holland (Rotterdam). Then boarded the train to Amsterdam and from there we came to Haarlem where we are staying. Its trains all the way. They run on time and are very affordable for the locals. 

Last nite I had nasi campur at an Indonesian restaurant in Haarlem and we spoke Bahasa with the staff. Had "real food" nasi campur, rendang and veges. Plus the closest deal to a teh tarik.

Of course I am following some of the news from home. 

1. Polio has appeared again. I believe the influx of uncontrolled migrants may have something to do with this. There is also that irksome issue of some people not vaccinating their kids because of religious reasons, says a doctor.

I doubt our Minister of Health has the competence to handle this issue. He does not seem to know much. His town hall meeting with that group of 800 GPs was just a village council type meeting. Nothing has been done since. It was just a political gimmick.

The Minister was never seriously concerned about the GPs because now his Ministry has moved a bill in Parliament to JAIL DOCTORS for one year if they fail to write a prescription for their patients!!

Ok we know these folks are stupid but I think someone else came up with this really insane idea to jail doctors for not writing a prescription.

Who benefits here? The doctors? The patients? The big pharmacy companies? Jeng jeng.

In any country in the world their best and brightest people become doctors. These are the intellectual cream of society. Doctors give life. 

Doctors study for five to six years minimum. It costs about half a million Ringgit to train just one doctor. And then this village idiot wants to jail doctors for not writing a prescription !!

Farmasi nak untung punya pasal, doktor kena masuk penjara ke? I really could not believe that news.

Mazlan Aliman kata, jika pengambilalihan itu dibenarkan, ia akan mengundang akibat buruk kepada kerajaan Pakatan Harapan (PH) pada Pilihan Raya Umum (PRU) akan datang.

Mazlan Aliman does not agree with Dr Mahathirs idea to let his good friend Syed Mokhtar take over FGV.

Sorry Mazlan. It looks like it could be Syed Mokhtar again. Now wanting to buy FGV.

Di mana ada tanah di situlah Syed Mokhtar.

Syed Mokhtar's entire life can be summarised in just one word - land.

I am in Holland. We call them Belanda. There is a huge land shortage here. They reclaimed their country from the sea. The saying 'bila Belanda dapat tanah' actually reflects how much the Dutch crave for land -not to buy and sell - but for their very survival. Tiada tanah tiada Belanda.

Well folks you have to keep an eye.

What is the price that Syed Mokhtar will pay to buy FGV? 

I believe the FGV share price has already doubled over the past weeks. 

Congrats to everyone who bought FGV - before the share price doubled.

The FGV saga is connected to the Felda settlers plus a three million Felda population. They have been ripped off by the previous ketuanan Melayu crowd. It was another serious cade of Melayu tipu Melayu. 

Is Syed Mokhtar the saviour? Since when has Syed Mokhtar ever been the Minister of Social Welfare? 

Syed Mokhtar is a land flipper. Land flipping is  all about money and profits.

The Felda problem is serious. It has to be fixed. I believe the Felda settlers will be helped. 

But where will the cash come to save them? From Syed Mokhtar? From the new idea to plant coconuts?  From us the taxpayers?

Since I am in Holland, I recall the story about the Pied Piper of Hamelin (it was somewhere in Europe). He fixed a serious problem for the people of Hamelin.

Then when the people of Hamelin did not pay the piper there were serious consequences. He stole away all their children.

In Malaysia the ketuanan people would have simply collected some taxpayers funds and paid off the Pied Piper of Hamelin. Thats how they would do it in Malaysia.

Someone always has to pay the piper.

Ok here is the soalan cepu mas. Dr M says he wants to hand over FGV to Syed Mokhtar because the swasta people know how to membangunkan hartanah.

Can Dr M confirm how many of Syed Mokhtars MONOPOLIES are making money?

Pos Malaysia how?

DRB Hicom how?

MPH? Sparkmanshop?

That digital broadcast company?

Err now the power plants??

Really running a business and running a monopoly are not the same.

Flipping cheap land is also not the same as running a real business.
