Failure Of KL Summit : Wisma Putra Sleeping

First here is Dr M trying to salvage what went wrong with the KL Summit.

Dr M dismissed reports Imran cancelled KL Summit following Saudi pressure
Dr M could have his own reasons.

(OSTB : This means Dr M does not know why Imran cancelled his attendance.
Imran Khan did not have the courtesy to tell Dr M why he could not come.
Earlier Imran had confirmed his attendance, the chappati had been ordered etc.
The fact is over the weekend Imran Khan met with the Saudi Clown Prince MBS.)

"That's his choice, we cannot force. In Islam, there is no compulsion in religion.

(OSTB :  So once again Dr Mahathir is proving to the whole world that it is ok for Muslims to break their appointments and to not keep their promises.

Dr Mahathir is saying to the world that it is ok for Muslims to be unreliable.

This is NOT a religious issue.
This is an international summit.
He already confirmed his attendance.
Then he cancelled.
Another U-turn by another Islamic leader.
Imran has just become U-Tun 2.0.

The Quran says,  ". . .when you have made an agreement,  break not your promises after confirming them . . .” Holy Qur'an (16:91)

In other words jangan cakap tak serupa bikin.
If you make an agreement then keep to it.
A man is only as good as his word.

If the Muslim leaders cannot even keep their promise to attend the Summit then how on earth are they going to get together to discuss and solve the numerous problems faced by the Muslims?  "Teacher, teacher today Imran absent. He got star-mak ache."

The PMO clarified that 56 Islamic countries were invited
all 56 were represented at various levels

(OSTB : Saudi Arabia sent the janitor.)

KL Summit to bring together heads  from Indon, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar
heads of government, only three involved
then we invited Qatar and Indonesia, if they're interested

(OSTB : if they're interested ?? This is wishy washy.
How can you even talk about global Islamic unity on the basis of "if they're interested" ?  There has to be greater commitment than  'if they're interested'.
If they cannot show commitment to attend then why waste time and our money hosting these useless Summits?

There are 56 Islamic countries but only THREE heads of government were invited !!  Qatar and Indon were invited as an after thought.  Well Jokowi is still not here.)

"Hopefully, they (the leaders) will receive some of the information regarding our discussions, which have nothing to do with religion, but instead, the state of affairs of the Muslims," added Dr Mahathir.

(OSTB :  Huh??   Hopefully? Why not just send them the information via email? WhatsApp pun boleh.  Instead of wasting so much time and resources on an international Summit?

which have nothing to do with religion ?? Baru kejap tadi kata 'no compulsion in religion' ??

This KL Summit is also a failure of Wisma Putra. No doubt this was a PMO event but the country's international image is involved. Wisma Putra should have played a bigger role. But the Wisma Putra Minister is also a McDunno.

So if Imran Khan did not come, then how is Dr Mahathir ever going to get that Islamic three-some going (Turkey-Pakistan-Malaysia) to explain the real Islam to the world?

If there are 56 Islamic countries and only THREE heads of governments are attending then what Islamic unity and problem solving are you talking about?

Conclusion : The world has changed since the last time Dr Mahathir was PM in 2003. Everyone has built their skyscrapers now. The Bangladesh economy has now surpassed Pakistan.

Plus over the course of the years it has become evident that Dr Mahathir's economic policies, particularly in developing the Muslims have failed.

It is totally sad that Dr Mahathir has to live so long to see that much of his economic policies have failed the Malays and the Muslims. Proton is now owned by the Chinese Geely. The Flying Car is another myth like the flying horse (with wings) which the ostard wal retards still believe in.

The fact is it is the non Muslims who have benefited most from all the super development that Dr Mahathir built in Malaysia.

Malaysia is a showcase of how hardworking people have prospered. But many of these hardworking people are not Muslims or Malays.  Whether you agree or not - this is the truth on the ground. If you do not believe me welcome to Bangsar South. Or Puchong. Or Bangi Annexe. Or Pavillion. Or George Town. Sri Hartamas. Mont Kiara. And on and on.

Two really lame prime ministers after Dr Mahathir also ruined much of the good image the country had. There is nothing much the Muslims have to crow about.  Or that Dr Mahathir can crow about. That is why only THREE Islamic talking heads have come for the KL Summit. The rest are not bothered. Dr Mahathir has become a has been.

I have a list of 10,000 things that can be done quickly to make Malaysia a shining example again. (Including wiping out corruption in two years - which my friend Willy Lim said I was just dreaming. I have to reply Willy Lim sometime.)  But lets not be too ambitious. Lets start small.

Just tell Khalid Samad - the McDunno whose Kg Baru plans have died a natural death and the Dato Bandar to clean up Kuala Lumpur. Some parts of KL looks like Calcutta or Zimbabwe.  Especially the messy construction sites along the roads which also cause traffic jams.

All over KL (and in Cameroan Highlands too) illiterate Bangla construction workers hold dirty red flags and divert traffic - causing massive jams and inconvenience. At least get Khalid Samad and the Dato Bandar to pay close attention to cleaning up KL (especially the numerous construction sites) and smoothening the traffic flow.

If you cannot even do a simple thing like that, or you think it is too simple and beneath your station, then how are you going to build a great civilisation?

Time is better spent "distributing the country's wealth" among old friends and cronies.
