Kuala Lumpur Summit 2019: 

A Bid By Qatar, Turkey, Malaysia, Iran To Challenge Saudi Arabia's Standing In Muslim World

A recent Islamic summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has become a source of conflict and tension in the Muslim world. 

The summit, to which 450 Muslim leaders, thinkers and researchers from across the world were invited, also included a summit meeting between Dr Mahathir, Erdogan, Qatari Emir Tamim al Thani, and Iranian President Rohani.

My conclusion :  

Here is a story that I heard from my father when I was about 10 or 12 years old. It is an apocryphal story - meaning it is not true. I have mentioned this story before, so some of you who read this blog may recall it.

But just a story nonetheless whose main theme is a little similar to the English saying  'you can never make a silver purse out of a sows ear'.

The story goes like this. One day the the prophet was walking down the street. The prophet's enemy no. 1 (ie the devil or syaitan) was watching him. The devil wanted to trick the prophet into being friends.  

The devil made an approach to the prophet and struck up a conversation. The prophet became suspicious when the devil would not introduce himself.  The prophet became even more suspicious when devil pleaded 'If I tell you my name you will say some prayer to chase me away'.   

The prophet relented when the devil finally did introduce himself as 'Yes I am syaitan' but he pleaded with the prophet to allow just a little time with him so that he could prove that he was not always evil 24/7.  

So the prophet and the syaitan walked down the street together. Just a few steps away the syaitan spotted a vendor selling sherbet (a cool sweet drink) and asked the prophet to stop for a drink. 

So they both had a cool drink. After the devil finished his drink there was a spot of sugary syrup on his finger which he wiped on the counter top. Then things went crazy.

A fly came and sat on the syrup residue on the counter. 

From nowhere a lizard turned up to catch the fly. 

After that a cat turned up to catch the lizard. 

Then - kaboom - a dog turned up to fight the cat.

The drinks stall was instantly overturned by the dog and cat fighting.

Everything was ruined.

Then the prophet said, 'I knew it. You are the syaitan, the devil. Whatever you do leads to disaster. There is nothing good in you."  

(Or something like that lah - because I heard this story from my father about 50 years ago, who heard it from someone at the Masjid Jamek India in Ipoh, who may have heard it from someone else from I don't know where . . so give me a break ok if I missed some details etc about this w_nker of a story.)

Anyway the OIC, the KL Summit, Erdogan, Rouhani, the Muslim Brotherhood and now Dr Mahathir - they all remind me of this story.

Nothing good ever comes out of these people. 

Whenever they gather in the name of religion, whenever they attempt to do anything - in the name of religion - it leads to disaster.

The KL Summit has started to cause more disunity in the Islamic world. 

Which was never united in the first place.

People should understand that religious unity, brotherhood etc are just bullshit.

It is purely political survival. Machiavelli can go and sit in the corner and shut up. 

The enemy of my enemy is my friend - according to place and time.

In Malaysia the shias are persecuted and thrown in jail. 

Amri Che Mat was abducted and made to disappear. 

Because in Malaysia the politics is dominated by the sunnis.

But internationally - Shia Iran is now a friend.

Now Salafi Saudi Arabia is less of a friend to Malaysia. 

Many people do not know that Shia Iran is now good friends with the Sunni "Muslim Brotherhood" or "Ikhwan Muslimin".

Erdogan, Qatar and  Hamas in Gaza are all Muslim Brotherhood. 

They are friends with Iran.

Erdogan, Qatar, Hamas in Gaza and the Muslim Brotherhood are rivals (or even enemies) with 'pro US' and 'pro Israel' Saudi Arabia.

Yes Saudi Arabia is now pro Israel, besides being pro US.

So this is the present 'split' in the Islamic world.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend - according to time and place.

Nothing good has ever come out of these syaitans.

Nothing good will ever come out from them. 

Mark my words folks. Write it down.

Nothing good will come out from these syaitans. 

They will always be causing problems 24/7.

And Dr Mahathir has joined them.
