Wan Ismail Wan Mahmood (photo, below), the father of Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, passed away at 2.30 am today.
The sad news was confirmed by a brief post on her official Facebook account this morning.
The late Wan Ismail's body will be brought to the Masjid Al Mustaqim, 26 Jalan Putra 2, at Taman Nirwana in Ampang for jenezah prayers at 9am this morning.
