PKR Youth vice-chief Syed Badli Shah Syed Osman (above) has told off former PKR deputy president Azmin Ali after the latter’s comment regarding Pakatan Harapan and its allies’ indecision over its pick for the next prime minister.
He said Azmin should not interfere in Harapan’s internal affairs, but should instead worry about how long he could last as an elected representative after his defection to Perikatan Nasional.
“He should instead think about how long he can last as an elected representative while people wait to reject him for betraying their mandate in his constituency.
“Azmin ought to vacate the Gombak parliamentary seat and Bukit Antarabangsa state seat and return it to the people,” he said in a statement today.
He added that political parties including Umno are well-aware of Azmin’s betrayal, and would not readily open its doors to him and his followers for the fear of being betrayed, too.
Earlier today, Azmin (photo) called for an end to the power struggle between Mahathir and Anwar, saying that it has been ongoing since 1998.
“When are we going to resolve the nation's problems?
“I think for at least the next three months, people (should) not ask 'who is the next PM?’ (There should be) peace for three months.
“But if Harapan returns (to power) that would be the topic of discussion daily – 'I am (PM) number 9', 'I am 8' and 'I am 10',” he said. - Mkini
