Suraus at malls, R&R stops allowed to open

PUTRAJAYA: Suraus at shopping malls as well as R&R or rest and recreation stops along major highways will reopen tomorrow, says Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“Many have complained that the suraus at shopping malls are still closed, so tomorrow they will be opened,” he said during his daily briefing here today.

He added that restaurants as well as convenience stores will be allowed to operate until 12 midnight, beginning tomorrow.

Currently, such premises are allowed to operate until 10pm.
