Amanjaya, Kedah to be placed under administrative EMCO - Ismail Sabri

Putrajaya has declared that Amanjaya, Kedah is to be placed under an administrative enhanced movement control order from tomorrow onwards in an effort to curb the spread of Covid-19 there

In a statement today, Senior Minister in charge of security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said three zones in Amanjaya would be affected.

They are Melor, Kenanga and Mawar.

"The special minister for the implementation of the MCO today approved the implementation of an administrative enhanced MCO in Amanjaya effective from 12.01 am, Aug 28 until further notice," he said.

The order will affect a total of 22,360 individuals, he said.
