Retailers are complaining that they are hit by fake RM100 ad RM50 currency notes from customers.
A retail businessman recently discovered a RM100 fake note while trying to deposit his daily collection at the counter of a local bank.
A check have also revealed the increase in the sale of currency detectors too.
Both customers and retailers should remain very cautious when dealing with RM100 and RM50 notes.
It is an offence to possess and/or to deal with fake Malaysian currency notes. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
