PPBM youth leaders booed at BN Youth event

The booing took place when PPBM youth representatives were introduced at the launch of the BN election machinery.

TANJUNG MALIM: PPBM youth leaders were booed during the launch of the Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth election machinery at Trolak Felda here today.

The mocking took place when BN Youth chief Asyraf Wajidi Dusuki introduced young leaders present at the event, which was also attended by PAS representatives.

It happened again when BN chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi mentioned the presence of PPBM youths at the event.

Earlier, PPBM president Muhyiddin Yassin announced that it was joining Muafakat Nasional, the pact forged between Umno and PAS.

This led to Zahid saying the party must show its “true value” in wanting to forge a partnership in the pact by ensuring that the votes of its supporters go to BN in the Slim by-election, to be held later this month. - FMT
