Conditional MCO imposed on Kg Kuantan in Klang Utara

A conditional movement control order (MCO) has been imposed today on Kampung Kuantan which is under the Klang Utara district.

According to Klang Utara police chief Nurulhuda Mohd Salleh, following the restriction, residents who leave and enter the area have to obtain a permission letter from a police mobile post set up at their locality.

She said roadblocks would be set up at Jalan Bukit Kuda in front of the Emy Cookies & Food shop and at the intersection at Lorong Lintang Raksa 2.

Meanwhile, Lorong Perak, Jalan Raksa 3 (in front of Jihas Bakery) and Jalan Raksa 4 will be closed off.

She stressed that no permission letter was required for residents in other areas of Klang Utara to move around as they were not under a conditional MCO.

Kampung Kuantan joins Bukit Tinggi and Taman Sri Andalas in Klang Selatan which were placed under a conditional MCO from 12.01am today.

At Bukit Tinggi, the roadblocks are at Persiaran Pegaga (opposite Subaidah Restaurant) and at Jalan Kim Chuan Road (opposite 99 Speedmart).

There will also be road closures at Jalan Batu Unjur 9 and at the entrance of the Onking Chain-Store electrical shop as well as at the entrance of the Wisfatt Motorcycle Shop.

At Taman Sri Andalas in Klang, the roadblocks are at the intersection of Jalan Tun Dr Ismail, while road closures will be in front of Ar Rahimiah Mosque, and at Jalan Sri Siantan, Jalan Sri Siantan 41 and Jalan Sri Damak 53. - Mkini
