PETALING JAYA: The Curve Mutiara Damansara carried out deep cleaning and sanitisation after closing down for the night at 10pm on Friday (Oct 16), as a staff member of a retail outlet tested positive for Covid-19.
The shopping complex here said in an Instagram post on Friday night that a member of Foot Solutions outlet tested positive for the virus.
It added in the post that the shopping complex would be open for business again at 10am on Saturday (Oct 17) after taking all precautionary measures.
On the outlet, the shopping complex's management said that all of the individual's colleagues underwent a swab test and added that they have all tested negative.
“They are currently under self-quarantine for 14 days, and will only be allowed to return to work if they all test negative again at the end of the 14-day period, and subject to our approval," said The Curve's management.
“We would like to assure our customers, tenants and visitors that your health and safety are of utmost importance. We will continue to take necessary preventive and precautionary measures, ” it added.
The Curve is one of several malls in the Klang Valley which has been affected by Covid-19, following a recent surge in cases.
Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya have been placed under a two-week conditional movement control order beginning Oct 14.
