84 new Covid-19 deaths reported, toll climbs to 28,576

 

Twenty of the new deaths reported were classified as brought-in-dead.

PETALING JAYA: The health ministry reported 84 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, according to its GitHub database.

The death toll now stands at 28,576.

Twenty of the deaths were classified as brought-in-dead.

As of midnight last night, there were 73,258 active cases, including 584 in intensive care units (ICU), 305 of whom require respiratory assistance.

There were also 5,607 recoveries reported, bringing the total number of those discharged to 2,340,390.

The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia now stands at 2,442,224. - FMT
