Covid-19 (Feb 8): 13,944 cases, highest since Sept last year

 

COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 13,944 new Covid-19 cases today, bringing the cumulative infections to 2,939,198.

The fresh infections today are the highest in 137 days, since Sep 24.

The Health Ministry will only publish today's breakdown of new cases by states after midnight on its CovidNow portal.

The breakdown by states for yesterday (Feb 7), where 11,034 new cases were reported, is as follows:
