COVID-19 | The Health Ministry today reported another 22,133 new Covid-19 cases.
As of last night, the R-number was 1.38, down from 1.43 the previous day. A R-number of more than 1.00 suggests that the spread of Covid-19 was accelerating.
The R-number is the highest in Labuan and no states have a R-number below 1.00.
There were 6,419 Covid-19 patients that were hospitalised as of yesterday, up 40 percent compared to a week ago.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was seen in the Klang Valley (430 admitted) followed by Johor (368) and Sabah (335).
Johor is currently reporting a hospital bed utilisation rate of 82.9 percent. - Mkini
