A student has lodged a police report after her TikTok video was edited and made similar to an individual involved in a viral sex clip referred to as the “gadis bertudung hijau” (green headscarf girl).
Nur Alia Mohd Acha, 21, made the report at the Ayer Keroh police station in Malacca on Jan 31.
She claimed her video - uploaded to TikTok - was allegedly used and edited without her permission and knowledge.
“Based on the comments on my post, many shamed me by calling me a porn actor.
“I felt ashamed, and I want to take action against those individuals,” she said in her police report.
In the original video, Alia, who was donning a green headscarf, was making content about her dry lips.
Alia said, however, someone edited the video to make her look like the “gadis bertudung hijau” alleged to have been involved in the viral sex clip.
“They edited my face and put her (‘gadis bertudung hijau’) face. I have already lodged a police report on this matter. This video is a slander against me,” she said when contacted by Malaysiakini yesterday.
The perpetrator, however, has since deleted the edited video and apologised to her.
However, Alia said she was still shocked and disappointed with what happened as she has become a victim of sexual harassment just by wearing a green headscarf.
