KUALA LUMPUR: The MySejahtera physical helpdesk kiosk at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) will operate daily until March 15.

The decision was made following "encouraging response" from the public, the Health Ministry announced today.

It said 400 tickets will be issued daily starting 9am until numbers run out, to prevent overcrowding and to comply with the Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOP).

"Only individual and dependent issues on MySejahtera will be handled at the physical helpdesk, and this does not include issues involving vaccination certificates under the industry vaccination centres (PPV)," it added.

Earlier today, the New Straits Times updated on Facebook that the MySejahtera's helpdesk kiosk at WTCKL had run out of slots due to "sambutan yang menggalakkan", according to a sign they put up.

The "encouraging response" are dozens of Malaysians who encountered problems with their MySejahtera application.

Among the issues are booster dose completion going missing in the app.

It was initially reported that the kiosks would only open on weekends from 9am to 5pm, and many appealed for the kiosk to also open on weekdays.

On Thursday (Feb 17), Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the ministry would set up several physical helpdesk facilities to resolve issues faced by MySejahtera users including the missing Covid-19 vaccine certificates.

He had said that the first physical helpdesk would be set up at the WTCKL PPV starting today, followed by the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) PPV in Shah Alam on Feb 26. - NST
