KUCHING: Three off-duty cops tested positive for drugs during a raid on an entertainment outlet here on Sunday.
Sarawak police commissioner Azman Ahmad Sapri said the three men, aged from 45 to 49, were an assistant superintendent, a sergeant and a corporal.
Borneo Post reported the raid was conducted on the outlet along Jalan Sungai Padungan at 1.20am on Sunday. It was conducted together with a team from Bukit Aman.
There were more than 200 people at the entertainment centre at the time.
Azman said the three policemen were among 152 who tested positive for drugs, including methamphetamine and amphetamine-type drugs.
They are now being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 for taking drugs. - FMT
